Highlights

The camera module of this phone will be inspired by the OnePlus 13A, with some minor changes. The device will come with a boxy design, an aluminum metal frame, and a matte-finish glass back. There will be no compromise in build quality. It will also have IP68 + IP69 ratings, which means the phone will be fully waterproof and dustproof.

Talking about the display, it will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. Unlike 2K, this one will offer 1.5K resolution but with a 165Hz ultra-smooth refresh rate, which has already been officially confirmed by OnePlus. This will provide one of the smoothest display experiences ever. For content viewing, it will support HDR10+, 10-bit color saturation, Dolby Vision, and peak brightness of around 6000 nits. The bezels will also be extremely slim.

In terms of cameras, the phone will offer a triple rear camera setup – a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, a 50MP telephoto periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Camera quality will not be compromised.

This time, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which scores above 3.8 million on AnTuTu benchmarks. Hardcore gaming can be handled easily. It will also support LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and an 8000mm² VC liquid cooling system for heat management.

For power, the device will come with a massive 7500mAh battery supported by 120W ultra-fast wired charging. Wireless charging support will also be available, expected around 65W (not yet confirmed officially).

Other features include dual stereo speakers, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, and more. The device will launch with Android 15 out of the box. Expected launch timeline: first week of October in China. The official price has not yet been confirmed.
